Ukraine will soon become an example that would be followed-President Zelenskiy

President Zelenskiy

Here is our First Investment Forum in Mariupol. I know, its preparation took a lot of effort and time. But the return is without a comparison.

After so many flights, trips and meetings in the evening, it is still full of energy from what is seen and heard. My conclusion is: Mariupol is already a European city. It only needs a little help to recover from the ordeal that have befallen this city in recent years.

But the people, and most importantly the young people I met today, are a source of energy and strength. I listened to project presentations from students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy and, you know, I have no doubt that Ukraine will soon become an example that would be followed! I wish the whole country would be like that, that entire Ukraine would be charged with such energy. It is necessary that our people receive quality education, that they feel free, that they have all the opportunities. They will remain here and build Ukraine a future that we will all be proud of.

Representatives from more than 40 countries, companies and organizations with a combined budget of nearly $100 billion came to the Forum. We have also talked to the World Bank, the EBRD, and private investors. Our “turbo mode” makes a positive impression. We are moving towards fulfilling what Parliament approves and I believe that our ambitious economic growth goals will become a reality in the near future.

So that every Ukrainian can develop, travel, learn innovations, that our specialists compete in the world, and Ukrainian pensioners in the cafe would share their memories with a cup of coffee. The way it is in European cities. Today, we have taken the first step towards the dream of an innovative country – a memorandum of understanding that every corner of our country will be covered by mobile communications and the Internet is signed at the National Communication Operators Forum.

Why did we organize the Forum in Mariupol? Because this city will be the start for the new Donbass. They have already opened a cool IT hub with all the necessary startups, they started improving the environment. Today I drove a car on a brand new road, 130 kilometers of which were built in just two and a half months. More results will be coming soon, because we can work quickly and efficiently! I saw it today: tomorrow has already begun in Mariupol!

NUGS KHARKIV HAD A MASIVE CONCERT TITLED “ONE AFRICA PRAISE 2019”

NUGS KHARKIV

The event took place at Goldbergovskaya 13A in KharkIv, Ukraine.

Earlier this year the President of ‘National Union of Ghana Student ’ Kharkiv, Ukraine. Dr Kodzo Asamany and his active executives released date for their upcoming event titled “One Africa praise 2019” which was yesterday 26th of October and successfully they achieved their mission.

The motive behind this event according to the president of the association is to praise and uplift the name of God and strengthen his children and also create a strong relationship between Africans.

“One Africa Praise” wasn’t just a mere concert but was actually a power- packed service as promised by the executives.

Since it was a Gospel event, they thought it wise to involve the Christian body. Invitation were distributed earlier to various churches to help support the event.

And God being so good, some members and officials from these churches they invited were there to support. And also, since it was an African event, many Africans showed up including some Indians and Ukrainians and were really happy to be part of “One Africa Praise 2019” which was powered by Nugs Kharkiv.

There were a lot of performances such as chorography, praises and worship which was the main purpose. Platform were also given to students who got the talent in singing to showcase it in a gospel way and they did marvelously well.

Further on the president of the association Dr Kodzo Asamany used the opportunity to talk about issues affecting the Ghanaian student body and how NUGS is doing well to resolve some these issues and the good impact of NUGS and students should always see the positive side of the association and make it possible to join and support the movement for NUGS has a lot coming up. And “One Africa Praise” is something which is going to be continue in the upcoming years.

Pictures and videos concerning “One Africa Praise” will be released soon

Minister warns Nigerians seeking to study medicine in Ukraine

The Federal Government has warned Nigerians seeking to study medicine in Ukraine to ensure the authenticity of the institution. This warning was given in Abuja on Tuesday, by the Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole. According to a press statement made available to PREMIUM TIMES, the minister gave the warning after the Ukrainian Ministry of Health said it cannot guarantee the quality of education of a university in the Eastern European country. “The Federal Government had recently been notified by the Ukrainian Ministry of Health that it could not guarantee the quality of education delivered to both Ukrainian and foreign students by the Odessa National Medical University. “The decision by the Ukrainian Ministry of Health was based on the result of an International Monitoring Study of Quality of Higher Medical Education conducted in Ukrainian Medical Universities dated March 25, from which the Odessa Medical University exempted itself.” Mr Adewole therefore warned intending Nigerian students seeking admission to institutions in Ukraine to note the development before submitting their applications to the affected institution. There were worrisome news in the media last year that some foreign trained medical and dental graduates performed badly in the national exams because they attended unaccredited and substandard institutions. This led to a confrontation between the parents and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
