Though the incident wasn’t captured on camera, Davido was filmed storming out of the nightclub after they were separated.

The cause of the brawl is yet unknown, however, Davido and Burna Boy have been engaging in some petty feuds since March of 2020.

It all began when they both decided to release their latest albums the same month and some song writing credit issues between Burna Boy and Davido’s signee Peruzzi.

Nigerian music executive Paul O called Burna Boy and Davido, and Wizkid – who was present – to order in an Instagram post after the incident.

He called them his sons and described them as ‘afrobeats heroes’, adding that they should use their ‘super powers’ to ‘unlock greatness, set an example and lead the way’.

He wrote: “Dear Sons, African Giant, Baddest OBO, and biggest Star Boy. I love you guys, You all have made monumental strides to advance African culture around the world. Your music has helped to change the face of Afrobeats and turned it into one of the most popular music genres today. You all have worked so so so hard to achieve this status and we are proud of what you have contributed to music, as talented musicians, and most importantly as African men.

This year has taught us all valuable lessons about life, love, friendship, work and passion. Let’s not forget the reason we all started.

Atwea Prayer Mountain to be developed into tourist centre

The Methodist Church is working in close partnership with the Sekyere Central District Assembly to develop the Atwea Prayer mountain into a monumental sacred religious tourist centre.

Right Reverend Robert Osborn Eshun, Bishop of the Effiduase Diocese of the Methodist church, who made this known said the mountain was now one of the most attracted areas for spiritual renewal and it was important to provide facilities to help visitors.

He was speaking at a public lecture to commemorate the relevance of the discovery and existence of the renowned prayer mountain.

It is located at Abasua in the Sekyere Central district and is considered as one of the most sacred religious and spiritual renewal sites, which attracts more than 40,000 pilgrims for spiritual cleansing and prayers every year.

It was discovered by one Reverend Osei Asibey, an evangelist of the Methodist Church in 1965, while he was travelling from Asante Mampong to Effiduase to preach the gospel of Christ to the people in the area.

The mountain, which was known as “Krobo Buo” by the local people, was believed to be the home of a powerful deity who was worshiped and served by a traditional priest for the people of the Abasua community.

After the death of the traditional priest, the deity was deserted and Rev. Asibey, passing through the area to Effiduase was said to have been led to the mountains by Angels of God, who charged him to develop the place into a restive centre for people to pray to seek the face of God to solve their spiritual and physical problems

It had since become the most preferred prayer centre for worshippers and believers from Ghana as well as other countries who visit, for a closer fellowship with God.

Rt. Rev. Eshun said the public lecture was to create awareness for the people to know and understand the historical, spiritual and economic contributions of the prayer mountain to the nation and the world at large.

He acknowledged and commended the immense contribution of Evangelist Richard Kwasi Afriyie, Manager of the Centre, for the remarkable infrastructural development in the centre under his stewardship.

Rt. Rev. Eshun said a strategic partnership for investment with the district assembly would not only help to improve the spiritual renewal, but the socio-economic development of the people in the area and called on the people of the Abasua community to keep their environment clean to make the place attractive to the people.

What Happened To The Scholarships Dr. Kodzo Asamany Questioned Evans Amoateng NUGS Ukraine President

Yesterday 27th December 2020, The former NUGS Kharkov president Dr. Kodzo Asamany on a live interview via Instagram concerning issues of NUGS Ukraine Questioned the new administration about the scholarship students applied some months ago which has been headache for a lot of active members who showed interest.

Current NUGS Ukraine Administration Are Becoming Ineffectual-Dr.Kodzo Asamany.

Yesterday 27th December 2020, The former NUGS Kharkov president Dr. Kodzo Asamany has raised concerns about the current administration of NUGS Ukraine for failing to deliver their promises and what really hurt him is, the previous administration raised the union to some standard which he thought that legacy will continue but rather failing.

He expressed his concerns via Instagram live with NUGS Kharkiv fila night host Adel Yeboah and co-host Andy Amuzu Kpeglo Active member of the union.

Below are some of the concern issues he raised.

1. It’s been 5 months ever since they were sworn into office and yet they’ve never had any General meeting yet. Why?
2. They promised to continue the ideas of their predecessors. What have they promoted so far ?

3. Supervise the formation of various academic clubs. Where are these clubs ? When are they going to outdoor them for the public to see? They promise to organize medical quiz, debates and economics quizzes. Can they tell us the number of quizzes they’ve organized so far ?

  1. They said they will organize career enhancing seminars for the members
How many of such have they organized ?
  2. They said they will champion the formation of International Students Representative Council and also issue international cards to the members. How many of such cards have they issued so far ?
They said they will start selling Nugs branded exercise books and t shirts. How many cities have received copies of their items to be sold ?
  3. They said they will name and shame the bad agents and work hand in hand with the good ones as well as praise them.
How many of such agents have been shamed ? And how many of them have been praised ?
  4. They said that the Deputy Minister of Ghana assured them that he will help so that the government of Ghana will have a deeper ties with the Ukrainian government? How far have they come with that ?
  5. What happened to the scholarships?
  6. What happened to the weekly show organized by the Office of integration?
  7. Lastly they said we should put our faith and trust in them that if we vote for them they will deliverer.
We voted and they are not producing results

According to him these and many other things they’ve failed to do

Criticisms should be part of the culture where the members have also failed to which make the leaders comfortable at the top because we don’t demand. We should also avail ourselves when they need us after they’ve delivered as promised.

The solution to criticisms is the work you put in and not foot soldiers sending messages to threaten people.

How did we get here ? Since when did people start threatening those who speak their minds ? I thought we were guided by a constitution and a member has the right to air his/her views

It’s only in this administration that you can’t say anything and has led to this then I’m sorry they’ve really failed as a team. They will surely be remembered as the most incompetent administration ever.

They still have about 6months to sit up or better still they can sit in their comfort zone and boast of helping with documentations and renewal of passports. Something that was started years ago which is suppose to be a must and nothing sort to boast off as if they are doing a big favor for the locals

They can turn a deaf ear and pretend to be blind but the majority who have eyes to see have seen and have ears have heard and it will go down in the memory lane

Shatta Wale Demanded $250,000 to Perform at Rapperholic 2020 – Sarkodie Reveals

Ghanaian hip-hop/hiplife performer Sarkodie has disclosed why Shatta Wale missed this year’s Rapperholic concert.

Although Shatta Wale performed at Sarkodie’s “Black Love” virtual concert which was held in August this year, he missed the Rapperholic concert.

Held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, on Friday, December 25, the 8th concert was stormed by music fans in and outside Ghana, particularly SarkNatives – the official fan army of the two-time BET Award winner.

The concert saw hundreds of fans of the musician throng the venue to witness another historic moment.

Top stars like Joey B, King Promise, Sista Afia and more made guest appearances, however, Shatta Wale – who resolved his grudge with Sarkodie at “Black Love” virtual concert – was nowhere to be found.

And according to Sarkodie, it was due to performance fee – which he says the controversial dancehall star demanded USD250,000 (equivalent to 1.4million Ghana cedis) when his team reached out to him.

He revealed this during a friendly banter with Shatta Wale on Twitter on Saturday, December 26.

It all started when on-air personality Jay Forley shared a throwback photo with Shatta Wale at the 2017 Rapperholic concert.
