NUGS-TERNOPIL MAIDEN VIRTUAL FESTIVE GET-TOGETHER AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING.

A Virtual Festive Get-Together and General Assembly, the first of its kind, was held on the 28th of
December, 2020, by the National Union of Ghana Students-Ternopil.

In view of the COVID 19 situation, it was an alternative way of bringing our people together to have a
good time and connect, since it’s the Festive Season. Many guests were invited out of which we had the
Dean of the International Students Faculty of TNMU – Prof. P. R. Selskyy, Ass. Prof. Olena V. Pokryshko –
Head of the Laboratory of Microbiological and Parasitological Researches of TNMU, Representatives of
our National and sister unions, and some of our Alumni that graduated from TNMU including Dr. Mrs.
Juliet Tufuor (formerly Kusi-Boateng), Dr. Samuel Asare Boahen, Dr. Henry Osei Amponsah and Dr.
Christian Acquah, attending.

It was a lovely time together where the invited guests shared beautiful and encouraging messages,
virtual performances were witnessed and interactive games were played, some in English and Ukrainian
Language. Citations of Honour were presented to the invited guests for their continuous support to the
union, for which we are and will always be grateful.

In addition, our General Assembly Agendas were carried out in the course of the program, where the
various achievements of the union in the current academic year were highlighted, with a video
presentation of the summary of the semester activities of the union displayed.
All in all, it was a wonderful program and we are grateful to all those that participated and helped make
it a great success.
